How is my UM Social Copy Trading Performance Fee calculated?
Your Ultima Markets UM Social Copy Trading Performance Fee (PMF) is calculated by multiplying eligible copied-trading profit above your previous High Water Mark (HWM) by your signal provider’s fee rate.
Performance Fee = Eligible Profit Above the Previous High Water Mark × Performance Fee Rate
The fee is paid to your signal provider.
Which profits are subject to the performance fee?
The fee applies only to eligible profits generated by trades copied from your signal provider.
The fee does not apply to:
Your account balance or deposits.
Profits from trades you place independently.
What performance fee rate applies?
Your signal provider sets the performance fee rate. The rate is non-negotiable and displayed on the provider’s profile.
Check the rate before subscribing to understand the percentage of eligible profit that will be paid to the provider.
How does the high water mark determine eligible profit?
The High Water Mark tracks the highest cumulative profit previously achieved through your copied trading.
Above the previous High Water Mark: Only the additional profit qualifies for a performance fee.
At or below the previous High Water Mark: No new performance fee applies.
After a trading loss: Your cumulative profit must recover the loss and exceed the previous High Water Mark before another fee applies.
This prevents another fee from being charged on profit that only recovers earlier losses.
How do I calculate the performance fee?
Calculate the profit above your previous High Water Mark:
Eligible Profit = Cumulative Profit − Previous High Water Mark
