You can close an open position from the Trade tab in MT4 or MT5. Select the position you want to close, then choose the closing option for your platform.

Steps to close a position

1. Open the Trade tab and find the position you want to close.

2. Right-click the position and select Close Order in MT4 or Close Position in MT5.

   

3. If a closing window appears, review the selected position and click Close to submit the request.

   

4. Check the Trade tab to confirm that the position is no longer listed as open.

If One Click Trading is enabled, the position may close immediately when you select the closing option, without a separate confirmation window. Check that you have selected the correct position before clicking.
